The BDO logo

Our logo is one of our most important assets. It is our signature and represents who we are and what we do. It’s important to retain its integrity. Any deviation decreases consistency and the instant recognition for which we’ve all worked to build.

To maintain this consistency, there are only a handful of rules we need to follow. We hope that you find them useful.

DID YOU KNOW?

Our logo can only be used in three (3) colour variations.

1. Full colour logo
2. All black logo
3. All white logo

Sizing, placement and colours

As the "Did you know?" section states, our logo can only be in three colour variations:

  1. Full colour logo (BDO blue letters and red frame) should be used in most applications
  2. All black logo (frame and letters) should be used only in applications where colour is not an option, such as black and white printing.
  3. All white logo (frame and letters) should be used on darker backgrounds and colour applications where the full colour logo cannot be seen easily.

For most applications such as proposals, presentations, advertisements, and any document covers, our logo should be applied as follows:

  1. Only placed in the top left corner or bottom right corner. This helps our logo to be seen first or last as an introduction on signature.
  2. Between 27 mm wide (or 1 inch) – 37 mm in wide
    (or 1.5 inches)
  3. It should be scaled proportionally so please contact us if you need the correct file

What can't be done?

The logo should always remain the standalone 'hero' on our communications. We cannot add service lines, tag lines or any other text that would create a 'quazi-logo' and compete with the BDO logo.

One exception: outdoor signage, sponsorship signage and promotional items where we can add our service line:
“Assurance  |  Accounting  |  Tax  |  Advisory”

Questions?

Compliance with these logo guidelines is a mandatory as part of the firms’s membership in the BDO global organization.
