BDO’s M&A and Capital Markets team advised on the sale of select assets of
BDO Canada’s M&A and Capital Markets team is pleased to announce that Purely Canada Foods Corp. has acquired select assets of Canpulse Foods Ltd. (Canpulse). We are also pleased to announce that ETG Commodities Inc. has acquired select assets of Global Grain Canada Ltd (Global Grain). Canpulse and Global Grain are subsidiaries of Globeways Canada Inc. (Globeways).
BDO acted as advisor to Globeways by assisting the stakeholders of the business throughout the entire sales process. Globeways is an Ontario-based processor and wholesaler of pulse crops.
Canpulse is located in Kindersley, Saskatchewan and operates a lentil and seed cleaning and processing facility, specializing in red lentils, green lentils, canary seeds, mustard seeds, and various others.
Global Grain is located in Plum Coulee, Manitoba and operates a bean processing facility. The facility processes a variety of bean types, including pinto, navy, and black beans, among others.
